​   Working on this project lead to many first time experiences and challenges for me. First time working outside of the US, first time living in the Philippines, first time helping a fresh new studio create a level designer department, first time working for Ubisoft and first time leading a team of level designers from pre-production all the way through beta.

Other day to day duties:

  • Lead a team of level designers from pre-production throughout beta

  • Collaborated with sister and parent studios on design and implementation

  • Researched time period and location discovery 

  • Collaborated with Art and Quest team to assure all aspects of gameplay are accounted for

  • Lead team in the research and planning of geography and rivers, placement of quest and secondary locations and network of roads

  • Creation of several locations from production to beta

  • Built network of roads and AI network
