About

Having the opportunity to working on a second Marvel game was incredibly exciting for me because I got to help incorporate never before used hardware and helped design how the gameplay would revolve around a tablet and stylus.

Making sure to add plenty of gamespace for drawing, I created whitebox environments, navigation mesh and collision to better define the play space. I then scripted enemy encounters and an assortment of puzzles to engage the player with.

Preventing the headache of making the cinematics myself, I was responsible for working with outsourcers in the creation of the cinematics this go-around where I implemented their work and provided feedback.

Other day to day duties:

  • Used Maya to block out and implement design

  • Used proprietary scripting tool to implement gameplay, polish and testing

  • Worked with producer with layout, timing and polish of cinematic scenes

  • Hooked up third person camera rail system in multiple levels

  • Worked with outsourcing to create game cinematics

  • Worked with world art to maintain vision of environments

  • Worked on technical aspects of all levels by created navigation and collision meshes
